Our company is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our team. As a leading provider in the landscape industry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients. The Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and outstanding quality of work. This role involves managing a portfolio of maintenance and snow accounts, conducting client meetings, and overseeing job site activities. The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in training and developing our field employees, promoting a strong company culture, and driving sales goals.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and outstanding quality of work.
- Conduct client meetings and site walk-throughs, presenting opportunities for enhancements and ensuring landscape maintenance operations meet quality and safety standards.
- Manage a portfolio of maintenance and snow accounts.
- Coordinate workflow and direct activities on job sites.
- Train and develop field employees, promoting a strong company culture.
- Manage and maintain the design intent of properties.
- Ensure accurate daily crew schedules are maintained.
- Meet short and long-term sales goals through out-of-contract enhancement opportunities.
- Manage and update sales pipeline, obtaining proper approval prior to performing any out-of-contract work.
- Assist in managing labor hours and work quality.
- Address and resolve client issues by evaluating concerns and developing solutions.
- Follow corporate procedures to ensure timely billing of completed jobs.
- Assist landscaping crews as needed to ensure jobs are completed.
- Manage financial aspects of assigned book of business.
- Handle customer and contract management, assessment, and renewal.
- Horticulture Degree or equivalent and 4 years landscape maintenance account management experience, preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM program maintenance, estimating, and pricing.
- Adaptable nature in an ever-changing environment.
- Prior experience in the landscape industry, within the local market preferred.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to meet critical deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong plant identification and turf knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
