Our dual properties, Drury Inn & Suites and Pear Tree Inn Sikeston are ranked #1 & #2 on TripAdvisor and are conveniently located off I-55 in Sikeston near local legend Lambert’s Café. Sikeston is halfway between St. Louis and Memphis in the Missouri Bootheel, bordering Kentucky and Arkansas.
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong and inspiring leadership to a diverse team, cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Operations: Oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring quality assurance best practices daily, the team consistently meets or exceeds all performance benchmarks.
- Guest Services: Cultivate a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest has a memorable and enjoyable stay.
- Training & Development: Recruitment, training, performance review, and team member engagement.
- Business Acumen: Analyze operational data to identify trends, optimize performance, and make informed business decisions. Navigate challenging situations, proactively address issues, and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.
- Financial Management: Upholding high standards of quality, service, profitability, and team achievement aligned with key business metrics through optimizing the hotel's budget, expenses, and driving revenue growth.
- Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with sales initiatives to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
Qualifications:
- Passion to serve others and exceed guests’ expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership success.
- Diverse management backgrounds welcome (hotels, hospitality, F&B, retail, etc.).
