You paint masterpieces with your compelling story-telling skills and excel working in a fast-paced, fun and collaborative team environment. You will engage with, pitch to and close deals with C-level medical device and pharmaceutical executives while cultivating cross-functional customer relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to be an early member of the DocMatter sales team. We have many happy, successful customers who will serve as references for your deals.
You will be successful in your role if you understand the fundamental commercialization challenges Medical Device/Pharma companies face, relentlessly pursue opportunities, build strong relationships with your customers, source and close large and complex deals with multiple executive stakeholders from scratch.

- Model, forecast and regularly present your territory plan relative to your annual sales quota
- Build a pipeline of qualified company prospects via networking, cold outreach and inbound leads
- Independently research publicly-traded companies to identify key commercial priorities and growth drivers across all business units
- Lead executive-level discovery calls to uncover commercial goals, priorities and challenges
- Build relationships with champions and executive sponsors across multiple business units and multiple job functions
- Deliver both in-person and web-based presentations that clearly tie back our value prop with what your prospect is looking to accomplish through the art of story-telling
- Regularly review deals with Director of Sales to work as a team toward uncovering blind spots and maximizing deal upside
- Work with our Strategic Account Managers to ensure implementation success and milestone achievement with the goal of expanding customer contracts
- Passionately evangelize the transformational power of the DocMatter platform
- Embody and represent, internally and externally, DocMatter's core values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of sustained quota-attainment carrying $1M+ sales number
- Complex enterprise sales experience required
- Excellent, demonstrable written, verbal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to put together/execute on territory plans while holding yourself accountable
- Ability to travel 20-40% of time

We are well on our way, but new hires are early enough that you will still be able to play a pivotal role in advancing our mission.
We are currently sheltering in place, and working remotely, but we are normally based out of our San Francisco headquarters a few blocks from the Ferry Building. Most employees work out of the same office, providing you an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and bond with extremely talented, intelligent, and mission-driven colleagues.
