SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Public SafetyAccount Executivefor its client in Los Angeles, CA, Anaheim, CA, Ontario, CA and Huntington Beach, CA locations. This person will be responsible for driving the customer life cycle and supporting account growth in the Public Safety sector, specifically serving First Responders. The ideal candidate will focus on sales generation, contract renewals, customer satisfaction improvement, and revenue increase, emphasizing customer retention.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Conduct new sales activities by leveraging contact lists to call leads and exceed monthly sales goals.
● Manage and maintain customer accounts by cultivating relationships, conducting account reviews, and addressing customer issues.
● Complete extensive data entry, system navigation, and utilize independent analysis for decision-making, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
● Participate in continuous training to stay updated on products, services, and sales approaches, utilizing automated knowledge systems.
● Achieve productivity and sales goals, meeting/exceeding departmental goals and business objectives.
● Demonstrate positive and coordinated behavior with customers and coworkers, consistently maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
● Disburse adjustments and credits within established limits and criteria.
● Support team initiatives and contribute to creating an inclusive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● High School/GED required. Bachelors preferred.
● 2+ years' experience in sales within Public Safety is required.
● 2+ years' experience in the Public Safety industry, preferred.
● 2+ years' demonstrated track record of B2B sales success is required.
● 2+ years' experience in the wireless industry/telesales/technical sales, preferred.
● 10+ years of service as a first responder.
● Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales.
● CRM experience such as Salesforce is a plus.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with proof of insurance.
● Must be able to travel throughout local territory.
