The opportunity
We're looking for a forward-thinking Account Executive, IT Solution Provider Sales to be an integral part of our Channel Sales team! You will be responsible for meeting & exceeding sales goals by supporting the channel sales growth of your IT Solution Provider clients through usage of TechnologyAdvice's portfolio of marketing solutions.
What you'll do
- Directly engage key IT Solution Provider decision makers within executive, sales, marketing, and operations roles, recommending usage and consumption of TechnologyAdvice's portfolio of marketing solutions.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and social media.
- Understand your clients' product offerings, how they engage their Vendor partners, and the customers best served by their solutions.
- Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
- Develop and articulate compelling value propositions around TA offerings to prepare and deliver appropriate proposals that accurately describe those products and set proper expectations.
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Manage contract negotiations.
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and onsite client meetings on behalf of the company.
- Leverage TechnologyAdvice's array of sales and marketing enablement resources.
- Negotiate and close deals by handling rebuttals and objections.
Who you are
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
- An outcomes oriented salesperson with 1+ years of experience selling to or with IT channel leadership.
- Bonus points for those who have sold digital marketing solutions to IT channel decision makers.
- Ability to speak about marketing trends, strategies, and tactics with client marketing leaders.
- Ability to perform a demo to Live a/o Virtual audiences.
- Experience with selling of Demand Generation services and digital lead generation programs.
- Experience with MDF, Co-op, and other Vendor reimbursement-funded models.
- A hunter sales approach.
- Experience finding budget holders inside tech organizations.
- Knowledge of the current and evolving digital media and demand generation landscapes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail regarding sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- A proven team player as well as individual contributor.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Competitive mentality, and a confident and determined outlook.

TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Base pay range represents 50-60% of total OTE, with remaining OTE based on earned commission.
