Job Description

At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. We are currently seeking an Account Development Lead for our Iowa and Illinois-based Golden Harvest Seed Sales team. The role involves coordinating reseller recruitment with Seed Sales Representatives across the district. Territory: Northern Illinois & Northeast Iowa

What you will be doing?

  • Securing new points of sale and developing them into trusted advisors and advocates for Golden Harvest
  • Working with Seed Sales Representatives across Illinois to ensure consistency and year around focus on the recruiting campaign 
  • Developing and implementing best practices for successful launches of new businesses
  • Bringing consistency to the onboarding process and supporting the training efforts of new dealers
  • Work with the Account Development team and the District Manager to set appropriate recruiting targets
  • Partner with Sales Team to achieve annual recruiting and retention targets
  • Ensure proper contract management by working with Sales Operations and Finance
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to build and execute Seed Advisor onboarding process

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree in Agriculture or relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of active Sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership teams
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
