This is a temporary and part-time employment opportunity with flexible work hours. This position may be eligible for remote/hybrid work after the initial training period is complete.
Typical Tasks and Representative Duties of an Account Clerk:
- Post and balance source documents to journals, subsidiary ledgers, and general ledgers; reconcile bank accounts;
- Compute and process bills;
- Accept payments and write receipts and deposit slips;
- Perform related routine cashiering duties;
- Answer questions from the public and other employees

This recruitment may be used to fill future permanent, substitute, limited term, and temporary positions, both full-time and part-time throughout the County.
The ideal candidate for this position will be eager to learn accounting in an entry level position, building their skills for a future career in accounting.
Minimum Qualifications
A combination of education, training, and experience resulting in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of qualifying education and experience includes:
One year of general clerical experience which included the keeping of fiscal records.
Licenses and Certificates
A valid CALIFORNIA driver's license will be required at the time of appointment.
