The Account Associate will grow the Company’s sales pipeline leading to growth of the Company’s revenue. Tasks include generating and following up on leads generated by the website, company events, and the marketing department’s campaigns. Interaction with current and future clients includes activities such as attending conferences and the company’s events and participating in sales meetings.
Essential Responsibilities
Existing Clients
- Engage with current clients to understand their initial product and training needs.
- Conduct regular touchpoints, introducing them to basic product utilities and answering foundational questions.
- Work in tandem with support teams to ensure smooth product adoption and utilization.
- Establish rapport with potential clients, gathering insights into their primary literacy challenges.
- Initiate basic discovery sessions to introduce 95 Percent Group's offerings.
- Work to achieve set sales targets, fostering key relationships with decision makers.
- Promote reading products and professional development opportunities via phone, email, and webinars.
- Utilize Salesforce for foundational CRM activities: lead tracking, note-taking, and basic communication.
- Draft preliminary plans highlighting initial areas of interest, identifying primary schools, and small districts for engagement.
- Support at local conferences or literacy showcases, aiding with company representation.
- Manage expenses, adhering to company policies.
- Undertake additional duties as directed.
- Meet sales objectives consistently.
- Ensure client satisfaction with regular, constructive engagements.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and act on potential expansion opportunities within the specified school districts.
- Establish and nurture initial relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
- 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in early elementary grades.
- Introductory understanding of the Science of Reading.
- Developing network of school-based contacts.
- Comfortable with basic technology tools (MS Office, CRM basics).
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to tasks.
- Genuine commitment to improve literacy outcomes and student success.
- Clear communication and team collaboration skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% with some overnight stays.
- The use of standard office equipment/computers and some light physical work is required.
- Work environment varies from an office to educational settings, with moderate noise levels.
