Your role in our mission
  • Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and user Acceptance Testing (UAT) results and expected impact and help to identify risks/issues and provide input into mitigation plans.
  • Evaluate work products to independently assess quality and reports findings. Assist in implementing recommendations as approved. Develop and maintain Quality Assurance and UAT documentation for projects and tasks to include quality metrics. Ensure documentation complies with established standards, policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on projects and mentor team members by providing guidance and support.
  • Analyze, plan, design, document and make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technology goals and work with the client to develop business specifications at the start of technical and non-technical projects and help verify that all requirements have been met through UAT.
  • Analyze customer information, requirements, and product specifications to help define technical content strategy and plans, including interacting with customers and working with project teams to analyze, define, test, and implement technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 testing procedures, as well as those that align with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT), Minimum Acceptable Risk Standards for Exchanges (MARS-E) 2.0, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), and related standards.
What we're looking for
  • Four (4) or more years of user Acceptance Testing experience required.
  • Test management certification such as the Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) and/or American Software Testing Qualifications Board (ASTQB) certifications.
  • Healthcare or insurance industry requirements gathering required. Medicaid and/or Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to organization and detail. Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving acumen.  
  • Ability to logically analyze complex processes and programs, troubleshooting and follow escalation procedures to resolution.
  • Ability to work with the customer and project teams to effectively derive, understand, and translate business requirements and user Acceptance Testing results.
What you should expect in this role
  • Must be a resident of the state of California.
  • Hybrid work environment 1-2 days a week in the office as needed for face-to-face and client meetings with the remainder of time remote work.
  • The office is located in the Roseville/Sacramento area.

The pay range for this position is $83,300.00 - $104,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
