We are hiring an Intake Coordinator at our EI Center in Owings Mills. This is an on-site, M-F position.
Ideal Candidate will have experince with ABA Intake and experience as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
What will your day look like?
- Completing intake phone call for new client referrals
- Educating families about the services we provide
- Verifying client insurance benefits to determine eligibility
- Communicating with families their insurance benefits and financial obligations
- Accurate data entry and communication recorded in EHR and other software
- Updating client availability for therapy
- Exercise discretion to schedule clients appropriately, maximizing their authorization
- Inputting authorizations into EHR
- Auditing all parts of EHR for accurately and completeness
- Evaluating staffing needs and communicate with team
- Attending team meetings and communicate current needs
- Identify scheduling and staffing adjustments necessary, and address accordingly based on client satisfaction feedback received
- Use judgement in coordinating schedules of other professionals (SLP, OT, psychologist, social worker, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Background check clearance upon hire
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with scheduling and intake
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
