We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and assist hospitals, doctors and other health professionals in placing referrals for Home Infusion and enteral therapy
- Gather patient information and accurately enter it into the system
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing and dietitian departments to ensure seamless patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting required, DME or Home Infusion preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
