Dispatch Operator

Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries using phone systems
- Transcribe and relay messages accurately and promptly
- Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources to designated locations
- Monitor and track the progress of dispatched personnel or resources
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and activities
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy
- Utilize conflict management skills to resolve conflicts or disputes
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain dispatch logs

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in dispatch operations is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using phone systems and other relevant technology
- Ability to negotiate and make decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing messages
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected situations or emergencies

Salary: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Dispatch appropriate personnel to designated locations
- Use phone systems and computer software to transcribe and document important information
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate and negotiate with customers, service providers, and other stakeholders
- Handle customer complaints and conflicts with professionalism and effective conflict management techniques

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate or training in dispatching or related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using phone systems, computer software, and data entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively
