Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager with Scrum Master skills and experience working with multiple teams and projects simultaneously. This role will help support our Multi-Media Quality (MMQ) group which is responsible for end-to-end testing and everything associated with that i.e., labs, equipment, head units, automation, etc. The person in this role will be supporting 5 different teams under the MMQ area, all of which are relatively small but different teams.
Essential Functions:
- This candidate will provide Project Management (PM) and Scrum Master (SM) support for the CTP Core Group, focused on backend areas that cover CTP Core, Account Management, Vehicle Management, and Notifications.
- Assist these teams in providing a broad range of technical support for the back-end code and environments used to support many of the apps that run in Lexus App.
- This position requires a good mix of PM skills to support our multiple project teams' deliverables, as well as SM skills to be able to help these teams organize and prioritize their work for each sprint, where applicable. All of this work should be done with value delivery committed to Senior Management always in mind.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' PM/SM experience.
- Automotive industry experience is required.
- A good mix of People management, Analytical, and Organizational skills are a must-have.
Requirements and Specification Skills:
- Supporting schedule for requirement and spec preparation.
- Supporting follow of requirements and spec completion per schedule.
- Product Skills.
- A common understanding of product life cycle, specifically SDLC.
- Experience working with the product stakeholders and collaborating with software/hardware and Operations teams.
Agile Services Experience:
- Experience working with Agile teams and Scrum Management.
- JIRA Management - prioritization and re-prioritization.
- Help the team remove impediments, backlog management, and manage dependencies, issues, and risks.
- Collaboration.
- Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure delivery success, including success management of risk and dependencies.
Continuous Improvement Skills:
- Actively contribute to advancing our lean processes to drive efficiency and improve effectiveness while supporting the organic maturation of teams.
- Inspect and identify continuous improvements between vendors and internal teams- tools, logs, and processes.
- Tools - Lucid Spark; Power BI; Tableau; MS Office; Atlassian JIRA/Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tools: Adobe Experience Platform.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Automotive infotainment experience, specifically with modern head units and related software and connected systems.
- Experience working in a product quality organization (not just development).
