2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Opportunity
As a Warehouse Supervisor for Kohler Co., you will supervise warehouse operations, including the flow of both finished goods and service parts. In this role, you will schedule and administer a highly flexible workforce that dynamically balances receiving, warehousing, and shipping within the Warehouse & Distribution Center to meet incoming customer orders and product deliveries. The Warehouse Supervisor is also expected to drive increased productivity through active leadership and participation in process improvement initiatives throughout the Supply Chain. Lastly, the Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for inventory levels and control procedures related to finished goods and service parts.
Specific Responsibilities
Assign labor force to appropriate tasks in line with efficient crewing needs and scheduling requirements.
Ensure that all process and quality specifications are followed in the shipping/receiving of scheduled components.
Monitor shipping results and ensure that budget rates are exceeded.
Maintain detailed knowledge of process and equipment to achieve optimum efficiency.
Ensure that all shift associates are adequately trained in the necessary process procedures to accomplish assignments efficiently.
Hold or participate in monthly safety meetings with shift associates to communicate the importance of safe work practices; monitor and enforce all safety rules.
Administer Plant rules and effectively handle appropriate discipline, when necessary
Continuously strive to improve process, process equipment, and procedures
Role model and encourage shift associates on process improvement methodologies.
Understand and enforce all procedures related to safe handling of hazardous materials and instruct subordinates in same
Maintain training on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures!
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
3+ years working in distribution or warehousing environment.
2+ years of team lead, supervisory, or management experience
Proficient in use of all common computer Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $85,650. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
