Handi-foil Corp., the industry leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of disposable aluminum bakeware and foodservice products, has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Thermoforming operation Process Technician based out of its facility in Antioch, IL. This privately held company has been in business for over forty years and is experiencing strong growth year after year.
Job Duties
- Overseeing the thermoforming and Printing lines, specifically in Lyle, GN, and Gonderflex machines
- Start-up and Shut-down of lines
- Setups and changeovers
- Ability to diagnose problems and perform minor adjustments to machines of responsibility to ensure efficient operation
- Perform quality check of product for defects as needed, correct accordingly
- Ensure operators are properly trained and are performing their duties correctly
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of prior experience operating related equipment
- High school diploma / GED Equivalent
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving skills
