Title: Facility Maintenance and Dishwasher Lead
Department: Troubadour Bakery
Reports to: Operations Manager
Schedule: Full Time
Exempt/Non: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Maintenance and Dishwasher Lead is a hands-on position that is responsible for the efficient operation of the dish room and to clean and maintain the facility, equipment, and tools in accordance with all federal, state and local food safe production facility requirements. This position will behave in a manner that supports Colectivo’s and Troubadour’s Mission and Values.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership to support a culture of continual improvement that results in a facility that meets or exceeds standards for food safety.
- Understand and implements procedures that maximize efficiencies and limits food safety risks.
- Coordinate schedules to meet production demand.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and assess any equipment problems and notify manager.
- Ensure food safe handling for all Troubadour co-workers.
- Provide timely and effective training, feedback, coaching and mentoring of co-workers to drive excellence.
- Demonstrate leadership in co-worker development.
- Manage company resources responsibly including but not limited to: electricity, gas, and water.
- Works in accordance with all federal, state, and local safe production facility requirements.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of work and supervisory experience in the food service industry.
- Serve-safe certified.
- Must possess strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Must enjoy working in a diverse environment.
- Must have a team-oriented personality, be cleaned, and organized.
- Must have a flexible work schedule.
- Computer and spreadsheet skills are necessary.
