2nd Shift - Inventory Control Coordinator
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator to be based out of Chino, CA. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this person will perform a variety of defined tasks and procedures aimed to ensure the effective preservation and integrity of all inventories on hand.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years inventory experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain documentation, enter and keep accurate records of all paperwork received.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including intra-site transfers and daily cycle counts.
- Receive customer returns (RMA) into ERP system.
- Daily report out of negative transactions (cycle count, scrap, damage and obsolete adjustments).
- Perform inventory transaction details investigations in order to perform root cause and 5 Why analysis on inventory discrepancies.
- Review daily in-transit report to confirm receipt of finished goods.
- Pareto opportunities to identify performance and process gaps that will ensure effective countermeasures implemented by Supervisor.
- Maintain records of all perishable inventory levels to ensure ample stock is on-hand.
- Assist in tracking, sorting and labeling inventory as needed.
- Ensure safety guidelines are strictly followed.
- Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times.
- All other duties as directed in order to maintain inventory health.
What you’ll bring:
- 2 years Inventory Control experience required.
- Experience in lean manufacturing, Gemba, 5 Why analysis is preferred.
- Previous experience working with a WMS program.
- Demonstrates an attention to detail skillset.
- Ability to analyze information and create inventory reports.
- Intermediate experience with using Excel and Outlook.
- Advanced schooling or certifications preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Within 3 months, you’ll:
