Washington Cherry Growers, LLC. is looking for a Seasonal Payroll Data Entry Clerk Level I
to work our 2024 Cherry Season from June- August. Please send your resume and complete the screening questions.
Classification: Full-time Non-Exempt Hourly
Job Summary: Enter and maintain accurate Data Entry for payroll and accounting records. Support staff and employees professionally and efficiently consistent with company policy and regulation requirements.
Payroll Data Entry Clerk Essential Functions:
Process edits and daily AS400 Data Entry.
Maintain neat, legible, and timely payroll files, binders, and reports consistent with regulation requirements and company policy. This includes record retention functions.
Responsible for AS400 and Time Clock system report generation, correction, and assistance.
Field employee and supervisor inquiries for basic payroll operation and logistics including processing verification inquiries for applicable payrolls (complete information request form)
Creating employee badges and maintain employee ID badge database.
Payroll Secondary Functions
Employee File Maintenance and record retention responsibilities
Active participation in the hiring process including preparation with hiring for peak employment seasons with information packages, hiring packets, personnel file maintenance, and record retention.
Support staff with document preparation, typing, faxing, and copy needs
Other clerical, payroll staff duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
One year of previous experience in Data Entry or general office experience is preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Professional Office Conduct and Confidentiality is a must
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Thoroughness, Analyzing Information, Results Driven personality required
Organization, Typing, Excellent Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail and basic math and reasoning skills
Computer, excel spreadsheet and AS400 skills preferred
Office clerical skills
Prompt and regular attendance, as overtime will be required. Must be willing to work 8 hours daily, up to 7 days a week for 8-10 weeks.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires considerable communication skill, computer proficiency, analysis of information provided via a variety of sources, and the use of specialized equipment.
