Data Entry Clerk

Intro:

We are a property management company looking for a customer service minded, and detail oriented individual to help us manage tenant payments. This individual will maintain tenant payment records on Rent Manager software and few other databases. Also, working closely with property managers, and regional manager to assist in tenant payment matters. This position will have the opportunity to grow with the company with potential to be a full time position if desired. We are looking for a team member to be with the company for the long run.

Position: 1-2 days a week (during training)

3 days a week (M/W/F) / (AM or PM shift) (starting July 2024)

There will be 3 months of training (Apr- June) and in July, you will be hired on to take over the fully role of the position.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate with property managers on tenant payment issues

- Ability to communicate effectively between tenants and property managers

- Enter rent information into our Rent Manager software

- Prepare checks for bank pick up and deposit
- Enter data into various computer databases accurately and efficiently
- Verify and correct data where necessary
- Organize files in a logical and manageable fashion
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Assist with data collection and report generation
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information

- Will be required to work from home few hours a week

- Quick reply and communication with the team is important

Experience:
- Experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position is a plus
- Proficient in clerical and administrative tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for Data Entry and analysis
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy
- Strong file management skills
- Basic math skills for numerical Data Entry

- Experience using "Rent Manager" software is a plus

- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
