A Day in the Life of a Facilities Business Intern:
We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas and help us build a world-class global facilities team while keeping safety a top priority for the company. As a Facilities Business Operations Intern at Bell, you can expect to provide Bell facilities with a variety of support functions that are critical to operations and future campus planning. The intern will use strategic planning daily to carry out various projects and activities. Responsibilities may include assisting Facilities Leadership with various activities, including overhead budget management, utility management, contract management and capital expenditures. Assist Facility Specialist with indirect procurement through ARIBA PO and invoicing support. Identify cost savings opportunities. Use metric development and analytics tools. Help with reporting status of projects, including budget, timeline, and risks or opportunities. Analyze ergonomics/safety throughout Bell facilities. Conduct work measurement studies (Time/Observation studies). Assist project managers in the execution of projects to meet schedule, scope, and cost.
What You Will Need:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Business required.
Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship.
Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
3.0 GPA preferred
What Will Make You Stand Out:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Willingness to learn, collaborate with team members, and develop real skills that can be applied to future opportunities.
A breadth of knowledge outside of the classroom that can be applied to their work.
Previous internship experience with electrical infrastructure, construction, or any industrial manufacturing setting.
Interest in auto repair projects, robotic designs, and programming.
The ability to work independently without constant supervision.
