We have excellent summer opportunities for students who wish to gain hands-on experience in an architectural/engineering/interior design environment. Paid summer internships will be 10 - 12 weeks beginning on or before June 3, 2024 (some flexibility is available).
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Student Intern to join our Public|Corporate practice group, working on a variety of projects throughout the country. The position requires excellent communication, time management and technical skills as you will work closely with Senior Project Architects and Project Managers developing non-routine and complex design concepts in a manner responsive to the client's needs and deadlines. The candidate will also have multiple opportunities for client interaction and will help our team maintain a commitment to design and quality for all types of projects.
Responsibilities will include working closely with Public and Corporate sector team members on specific Public and Corporate projects with the potential to be involved in a wide range of project-related work including presentation graphics and construction documents.
- Accepted into a MArch program and have completed at least 1 year of design studio OR enrolled in a BArch program and have completed at least 3 years of design studio
- Previous internship or leadership experience
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe suite (Illustrator, In-design, Photoshop) and 3-D software (Rhinoceros, Sketch up, 3ds Max)
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $21.00/hr.
