- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail required
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Strong telephone and in-person communication skills required
- Model professionalism through appearance, conduct, and attitude.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Mid-Del Technology Center, CareerTech Certifications, and CareerTech Student Organizations preferred.
- Assist with the reception desk, greet and assist guests, parents, and students as they enter the main office.
- Assist instructors with CareerTech Student Organization membership, district, and state contests, travel logistics, and events.
- Promote the overall effectiveness of the organization by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the Tech Center during peak periods or when there is an overload of duties.
- Perform office administrative and clerical organizational tasks such as electronic files, schedule appointments, make copies, stuff informational packets and assist other staff members as needed.
- Assist with events hosted on MDTC campus.
- Additional duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor or above.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to
effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive
variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
