Youtube Specialist Intern - Enfoque A La Familia

The Focus on the Family Internship Program provides valuable experience, professional and spiritual development, and lasting friendships for over 30 college upperclassmen each summer. As a YouTube and Social Media intern for the Hispanic team, you will use your skills to improve the reach and retention of the video content posted on YouTube and on social media. The position will work closely with the Hispanic team, Enfoque a la Familia, (in the US and abroad) to increase organic traffic from the social media channels into the YouTube channel by analyzing and consulting on the implementation of changes on each channel and video to be posted. Applicants should possess excellent research skills, analytical skills, knowledge in YouTube Analytics and social media. Spanish proficiency is also required.
What a day in the life looks like:

• Research relevant keywords and metadata for YouTube videos
• Optimize titles, descriptions, thumbnail texts, information cards, end screens and collaborate with graphic designer for thumbnail graphics on YouTube
• Analyze performance of posted content on 4 YouTube channels and 4 social media accounts and create insights and tests to be implemented by videographer, YouTube publisher and graphic designer
• Update links, end screens, information cards and descriptions on old but growing videos on the YouTube channel, and collaborate with graphic designer to update thumbnails
• Advise the videographer on quickly creating reels/shorts for a video that is gaining traction on the streaming platforms

• Build your portfolio with tangible projects and results
• Develop teamwork and communication skills by collaborating with a multicultural team.
• Grow personally and gain more perspective on life and relationships through the quality content you will encounter.

What makes you an ideal candidate for the Enfoque a la Familia team:

• Majoring in Digital Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing Communications or similar
• Excellent communication skills to provide quick and effective analysis and insights
• Developing knowledge and experience in digital marketing and in the use of Meta Business Suite and YouTube Studio
• Basic knowledge on cloud apps: Microsoft excel, Microsoft Word, Google Sheets
• Bilingual (Spanish) is required

Additional Notes:
This position is an intern position only. There will be no compensation or pay with this position, but an $2500 honorarium, workday lunch, and housing for out-of-town students will be provided.
Only upperclassmen college students need apply for the summer internship.
Transportation is the responsibility of the intern and may be a condition of acceptance.
