Easterseals UCP is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Youth Support Partner to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary High-Fidelity Wraparound team designed to provide support to the child/youth that has a mental illness, substance use disorder or has co-occurring diagnoses.
What You’ll Do
The Youth Support Partner provides one-on-one structured supports and strengths-based interventions that promote self-determination and self-advocacy with a focus on recovery and resiliency for the benefit of the eligible youth. Supports provided to the youth are directed towards positive outcomes and to increase the overall capacity for the youth to build healthy, positive relationships in the here and now that will carry into their future. The Youth Partner meets with the youth on a weekly basis as well as with the family and support system, collaborates with the whole care team, and supports the youth by assisting them with outside agencies and community referrals as needed.

You’ll earn a competitive salary of $18-20/hour and join a growing team making a difference in our community. The service area for this position is Wayne, Wilson, Duplin, Lenoir, Sampson, Green, and Edgecombe counties. We also offer benefits to those regularly working 30 hours or more per week.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must be willing to provide care in community and home-based settings, participate in the crisis phone support rotation, have strong communication skills and able to link clients to community resources. We also require the following:
- Must have lived experience as a youth that received services
- Minimum of a diploma or GED and 2-year's of experience working with youths
- A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record
- Experience promoting client “voice and choice” preferred
