Position Summary
General Position Summary: The YFS - Career Coach is responsible for a variety of duties related to providing skills training and support at work sites including Oregon Department of Human Services branch offices and in private and/or public employer worksites. Skills training includes but not limited to; supporting participant to achieve a goal of employment, schedule planning, self-care, medication management, referrals to mental health/anger management, and assistance with meeting recovery goals. Requires bilingual in Ukrainian/English.
Position Details:
Status: Full Time 32 Hours
Location: Salem, OR
Shift: Monday - Friday
Wage Scale: $20.14 - $25.47
Report to: YFS - Manager
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required, with at least two (2) years experience or additional education in providing job skills training. Two (2) year degree in a related field preferred. Bilingual in Ukrainian and English including the ability to properly use Ukrainian and English language including grammar, spelling, punctuation, speaking, reading, and writing. Ability to effectively communicate Ukrainian and English both orally and in writing. Ability to translate Ukrainian to English orally and in writing.
Preference may be given to those with IMatch experience, secondary language skills including but not limited to: Ukrainian and Russian. Must have current Oregon driver's license, acceptable driving record, and insurability. Must pass required criminal history and other background screenings.
