SalaryWorking at the YMCA of Dekalb County, you’ll discover it's more than a job. We are seeking part-time employees for our Before and After School Program who are enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate with a strong desire to positively impact the lives of young children.
Morning shift: 5:45 AM - 9:00 AM
Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Job duties:
-Provide care and supervision of school age children Before and After School.
-Be actively involved in games, activities, and interactions that promote a fun environment.
-Assist in preparing and serving snack.
-Assist in daily preparation and planning of the days activities.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that includes some light cleaning duties.
Requirements
Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Dekalb County:
- Minimum of 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent, is needed.
- Experience in the supervision of multiple children is preferred.
- Ability to handle situations quickly, kindly, and fairly.
- Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with school aged children and their families.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 29.75 per week
