As a Driver, you'll become a part of this mission by joining our award-winning transportation team, tasked with delivering grocery goods to supermarkets, chain stores and military bases across the country. You'll have a sense of pride on your journey with us as a key contributor to delivering over 100,000 different products to more than 7,500 locations.
As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for operating trailer jockeys and tractors to move trailers to designated locations within the distribution center.

- The schedule will be as follows:
Sunday 6:00 AM to 18:00
Wednesday 12:00 to 18:00
Thursday 6:00 AM to 18:00
Friday 6:00 AM to 18:00
Description
- Drive trailer jockey and tractor.
- Check temperature of trailer to ensure proper temperature is set based on the product.
- Move trailer to designated dock for loading and unloading
- Connect and disconnect tractor from trailer.
- Clean, wash, fuel, and inspect tractors and trailers for damages.
- Drive tractors and trailer through wash bay.
- Stack salvage from retail stores on pallets and unload salvage.
- Operate propane fueling equipment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills
- Specialized Knowledge : Ability to obtain CDL within 90 days of hire; individual would be unable to use any equipment requiring CDL until license is obtained. Ability to pass DOT Physical. Valid CDL. Valid Medical Card. Completed CDL Training School and/or 2 years commercial driving.
- Special Skills : Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely. Show reliability and maintain satisfactory attendance. Produce quality work. Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations. Ability to operate required Tractor/Trailer and materials handling equipment (MHE).
- Physical abilities: : Occasionally climbing up to 4 ft. (Must have fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment). Occasionally talking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling, fingering, and feeling. Frequently reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.). Frequently gripping, carrying, pivoting, pushing, lifting, pulling up to 60 Lbs. Frequently standing and walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete. Continuously hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
