Yacht Product Engineer (Marina Ind req; relo to Hancock County, ME) Description

Our client in the boat manufacturing industry seeks a Yacht Product Engineer to join their team in Hancock County, ME- just a few miles from Acadia National Park. In this role, you will guide the execution of complex engineering systems throughout the development process, from concept to post-implementation. To be considered for this role, you must have experience in intricate system design, such as marine systems design, plumbing, electronics, water/fuel systems, and power generation systems. Candidates with marine industry experience are highly desirable. Yacht Product Engineer (Marina Ind req; relo to Hancock County, ME) Responsibilities

• Design and develop new models and processes
• Create design specifications, cost estimates, and drawings
• Oversee fabrication and installation
• Integrate emerging tech and innovative concepts
• Evaluate product performance
• Validate external systems and materials
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ABYC and ISO)
• Review and approve owners' manuals
• Perform FEA, FMEA, and DFM analyses
• Utilize engineering and design software

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Marine industry experience required
• Complex system design experience required
• CAD experience required
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
