The Xcode UI Automation Engineering team is responsible for our core XCTest automation APIs, as well as the automation authoring and execution experiences in Xcode itself. Testing is a key part of building high-quality applications and as a member of this team, you'll play a significant role in shaping the tools used by missions of developers every day to validate their code.
Key Qualifications
Professional experience with functional automation frameworks such as XCTest, Selenium, Appium
2+ years building frameworks, tools, applications using Xcode
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build systems software
Passionate about details and comfortable with complex, multi-faceted problem spaces
Passion for developer-focused tools and API design

Description
The XCTest team is seeking a creative and highly motivated engineer to help design and build next generation Automation tools and workflows. As a member of the XCTest team, you'll work with engineers across Apple to design new features that enhance developer workflows and productivity, focusing heavily on details that enhance the user experience.
In this role, you will design and build Xcode's UI Automation framework. In pursuit of a seamless developer experience, you will be responsible for helping to shape service architectures and APIs, building robust client implementations, and delivering rich user interfaces.
Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for software development, testing and automation, a thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals, and an appetite to learn the specifics of our systems and tools.
Education & Experience
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
