X-Ray Technologist

Vital DiagnosTech is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic X-Ray procedures, capturing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. This Rad Tech job is full-time, working evenings from 3pm to 11pm, but we can also make room on weekends too. New graduates will be considered as long as you are already registered with the ARRT and have good clinical references. The pay range is up to $40/hr to start plus a nice relocation/bonus package of up to $13,000 to help you settle into your new job.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures on patients as ordered by physicians
• Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures
• Operate and maintain X-Ray equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and image quality
• Capture and process high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret images
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed, protecting patients and staff
• Stay updated on advancements in X-Ray technology and participate in continuing education

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• No experience required
• Proficiency in operating X-Ray equipment and related imaging software
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in capturing and processing images
• Commitment to patient care and safety
