```Duties```
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and techniques, including open to learning to perform MRI.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images
- Follow safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
- Operate computerized radiographic equipment to capture images
- Review images for quality and ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques
- Provide patient education and ensure their comfort during procedures
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures
```Qualifications```
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or X-ray Technician
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and computerized radiographic systems
- Experience with various imaging modalities such as PET scan, sonography, mammography, etc.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of medical images
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
