Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Follow protocols and safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality patient care
- Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting and evaluating images
- Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Proficient in performing aseptic technique during procedures
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation
- Experience in various imaging modalities such as mammography, PET scan, CT scan, and sonography
- Familiarity with emergency room (ER) settings and ability to handle urgent cases
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
