This is a role well suited toan ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Site Installation Technician - MIVX-Ray Medical Imaging Systems you will be responsible to: Start-up and calibration of AT (Advance Therapies - ANGIOAngiography and Cardiac) installations Provide expert level installation support to field serviceorganization; communicate and escalate technical issues and delays Keep installation projects on schedule; assure quality; Evaluate room layout and installation quality of our mechanicalinstall vendors; Start-up in accordance with factory instructions andspecifications; Troubleshoot technical problems and repair out of box failures; Correct vendor and factory errors and mistakes; order missing ordamaged parts; provide feedback to vendors, factory, project management andplanning; Provide on-Site Installation training for field Customer ServiceEngineers. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with whatis below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers Travel with customer-facing (e.g., those required to visit acustomer/business partner site or interact in-person with customers at anyconference or meeting) OR Visit on-site, whether regularly or occasionally, atany Siemens Healthineers location.
Required skills to have for the success of this role Technical training or degree associates or higher; minimum of 2 -5 years of experience with X-ray system installation and service. Ability to travel overnight 100% of the time. May require weekend work.
End of the Quarter work requires "All-Hands-On-Deck" attitude toachieve business goals. Expert level troubleshooting skills and capable of evaluating roomlayout and site planning. Must be able to effectively set up and connect hospital networksto Siemens remote diagnostic SRS/RUH applications.
Requires superb customer and communication skills. Must be organized, self-sufficient and capable of working withlittle or no supervision. Successfully demonstrates thorough/ advanced knowledge of atechnical or specialty area.
Generally, 2-5 years of successful experience in area ofresponsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities andKnowledge as presented above. This position requires a background check, drug screen & validdrivers' license Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Performs complex equipment installation, investigative tests, andrepairs. Performs complex product and service training to customers.
Maintains tools & parts inventory, schedules maintenance ontools, test equipment, etc., and completes documents required of allinstallations. Performs complex service or systems calls and interfaces withcustomer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problemevaluation and resolution. Performs assessment of complex product/equipmentperformance based on field support data and recommends modifications orimprovements.
Candidates should live near a major airport Company vehicle is provided, also for private use The pay range for this position is $63,000-$85,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending onjob-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 5%of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of healthand wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
