Our Service Center's Workforce Management (WFM) Unit is actively seeking a dynamic Workforce Analyst to become a valuable part of our team. This role is dedicated to harnessing the power of analytical expertise for the purpose of modeling and forecasting workforce requirements within our service centers and contracted service sites. As the Workforce Analyst, you'll immerse yourself in call volume and average handle time data, skillfully utilizing your insights to deliver informed business recommendations for the most effective allocation of resources. Beyond conducting comprehensive workforce analyses, this role also entails the creation, maintenance, and distribution of daily staffing plans in alignment with the operational objectives of our service center.
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience with workforce management programs and/or projects
  • A background in Call Center operations
  • Proficiency in various reporting and analysis tools
  • Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills

This position's office headquarters location is designated in Sacramento County.
Travel expenses associated with commuting to the employee's office headquarters location are not reimbursable, other than authorized transit subsidies.

Working Conditions
  • This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Covered California's current telework policy. While Covered California supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department.
  • Employees are no longer required to submit Covered California's Self-Screening Questionnaire prior to coming onsite. Additionally, the State of California COVID-19 Testing Program requirements, along with COVID-19 vaccination verification are no longer needed. Covered California's COVID-19 Prevention Plan has been updated to incorporate the revised CDPH Public Health Officer Orders.
