Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Business Analyst within the Information Technology (IT) group located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for analyzing the business needs of the Agency to help identify business problems and propose solutions. The BA will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The role of the Business Analyst is to perform as a liaison between the Operating Groups and the Information Technology department to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate new requirements for changes to the business process, policies, and information systems. The BA will also develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data analytics for the Operating Groups. The BA will manage security for Workday Objects, Workday Business Process Security Policies, and Workday Domain Security Policies. Employees in this classification receive guidance and general supervision from the Senior Business Analyst.
Estimated Pay Range:
$74,085.52 - $101,867.42

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum of 5 years related experience (including Financial Accounting Systems, Human Resources Information Systems, Expense and Revenue Budgeting, and/or experience with PC based report writing tools). Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
