Penguin Random House is seeking a motivated Associate Analyst to join our Business Operations team based in Westminster, Maryland. This position is remote.
Responsibilities in this role:
- Works with the Operations Financial Planning & Analysis team to prepare budgets & forecasts
- Develop and monitor annual business plans
- Prepares summary and analysis of operating expenses
- Process monthly financial close entries
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Prepares a variety of variance analysis reports
- Works on special projects as assigned
We are seekingCandidates with:
- Excellent financial and operational analysis skills
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Ability to work extra hours
- AA/BS degree preferred. Will consider relevant work experience. New and upcoming graduates welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.
