The Wine & Spirits Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the Wine and Spirits portfolio covering a large territory, district, or region including long-term and short-term marketing strategies, customer relationships, sales execution, and supplier relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages existing and new Wine and spirit portfolio with the goal of achieving incremental distribution and optimum profitability.
- Implement strategic sales plans to achieve company and supplier goals and initiatives.
- Manages inventory control for Wine and spirits.
- Receive, reconcile, and communicate supplier goals and internal objectives.
- Assist and support sales teams in achieving sales goals with assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with key accounts in a geographic region to improve the distribution of products within set accounts.
- Identify opportunities, solve problems, and develop action plans to achieve Atlanta Beverage Company’s objectives and guidelines.
- Review and establish appropriate price structures for products consistent with the respective brand strategies.
- Establish and maintain rapport with key accounts through regular visits in the market.
Qualification/Skills
- High school diploma; some college preferred.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred.
- Clear motor vehicle record for the past three years.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Possess professional sales presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
