Form of workGeoLogics is seeking a Windows System Administrators.
This position requires DOD Secret Clearance and 8570 Certification of IAT.
This Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm role is located in Aurora, Colorado.
Pay Rate: $35 to $48 an hour depending on benefits
- Be able to collaborate with a diverse team to support fast-paced, critical programs with classified information system capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Windows System Administration
- automation scripts to build systems
- troubleshoot COTS integration issues
- troubleshooting techniques
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Current DoD Secret (or higher) clearance.
- A minimum of 2 years of System Administration experience in Windows environments
- Good understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
- Knowledge of Windows fundamentals to include performance monitoring and optimization, troubleshooting, patching, and security hardening.
- DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Linux Administration and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Automation tools such as Chef or Ansible
- Experience with developing solutions and documentation for a variety of PC and Server architectures.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods.
- Degree in IT or STEM related field
