Wholesale Sales Consultant

- Serve a nationwide network of dealers representing a reputable and fast-growing company
- Educate dealers and build relationships with our existing accounts while also pursuing new accounts in our target markets

- Prepare & present quotes on custom projects for dealers, follow up on existing quotes, and answer questions
- Ensure that all documents are in order and the production team has clear instructions when they are ready to start the project
- Address concerns – missing or damaged parts, replacement parts, etc.
- Attend 3-4 Tradeshows a year to connect with existing and potential new dealers & contractors
- Visit existing dealer lots to keep displays up to date and looking fresh
About Us
Country Lane Gazebos is seeking a construction professional for our new Wholesale Sales Consultant opening, who will build relationships with dealers by providing excellent service throughout the sales and installation process. This energetic, self-starter will be responsible for serving our nationwide network of Wholesale Dealers. Our ideal candidate has a background in selling and managing accounts in a similar industry, including remodeling, new home construction, pole barns, sheds, gazebos, B-to-B sales, etc.
Since 1994, we have focused on providing quality outdoor living products to buyers across the US. Our products include gazebos, pergolas, pavilions, outdoor furniture, and playsets. We are experiencing exciting growth and have ambitious plans for the future. We invest in our team's personal and professional development as an employer.
Our Ideal Wholesale Sales Consultant:
- Driven: Our sales team has fun together and chases big goals. We're looking for a go-getter excited to represent a great company, build on our existing customer base, and provide excellence in sales & service.
- Experienced: Seeking a sales or business development background in construction, lumber, hardware, hardscaping, or related industry. This may include a sales role involving sheds, gazebos, remodeling, new homes, pole barns, building products, etc. Knowledge of the construction process and consulting with clients about their projects. Experience as an account manager, inside or outside sales rep, dealer rep, or similar position is preferred.

- Flexible: This position will require travel to 3-4 tradeshows per year and visiting dealers nationwide. Most of the year is a standard Monday-Friday schedule.
- Computer Savvy: Must be comfortable using a computer, have efficient typing skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
