Overview
This is a full-time remote career opportunity within Fulton Bank's 5 state footprint of PA, MD, DE, NJ and VA. Applicants must live and work within these 5 states.
The Account Executive - Wholesale will leverage a functional understanding of the mortgage banking process to be the primary sales resource utilized to onboard broker clients, create a value proposition for Fulton Wholesale in the marketplace, and drive transactional execution at a loan level.
Responsibilities
  • Solicits mortgage brokers in the bank footprint that are solid counterparties and interested in delivering loans into Fulton Bank. Helps the client navigate the application process and all counterparty requirements.
  • Once approved, the Account Executive coordinates a welcome call and high level training for the mortgage broker on the Fulton Mortgage delivery specifics including, but not limited to file delivery, lock policies, compliance specifics, credit decisioning and the closing process.
  • Works closely with secondary marketing, fulfillment, and credit to sharpen the nuances of each functional area and improve the value proposition. Filters up competitive intelligence around product and pricing options in the marketplace to drive a competitive platform.
  • Drives direction around pipeline management including prioritization of certain files based upon client type, closing dates, and the like.
  • Drive the marketing effort to the mortgage broker. This will initially include drip campaigns around the value proposition of Fulton Wholesale Mortgage in general for brokers that are not yet approved. Tailors and specifies marketing plans to approved brokers based on the product lines and borrowers they are servicing.
  • Drive quality loan production to Fulton Bank based on the strategic plan of Fulton Mortgage Company.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist the client for front line IT issues such as password resets, general navigation questions, and file delivery via TPO Connect.
  • Work with credit as a source for product intel in the market as a key driver to ensure Fulton Bank remains a strong player from a product perspective.
  • Provide feedback to secondary marketing on the price position to ensure competitiveness and win transactions.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: finance, marketing, or communications. (Preferred)
Experience
5 or more years Account Executive. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Functional knowledge of the mortgage banking process including secondary marketing, operational fulfillment, compliance, marketing, and IT infrastructure (Required)
  • Excellent communication skills (Required)
  • Working knowledge of POS interfaces (Required)
  • Client relationships in bank footprint states (Required)
