Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ice Cream Maker to join our team. As an Ice Cream Maker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality Ice Cream products in accordance with industry standards and guidelines. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and experience in food production. Duties: - Operate Ice Cream Production equipment, including mixers, freezers, and packaging machines - Follow recipes and formulas to create Ice Cream products with consistent quality - Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper freezing and mixing of ingredients - Package finished Ice Cream products into containers or cartons - Fabricate and assemble Ice Cream cakes and other specialty items - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area - Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines - Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) procedures to ensure food safety - Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation - Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as required Requirements: - Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred - Knowledge of food processing techniques and best practices - Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and HACCP procedures - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately - Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting production equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
