Kennel Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our furry guests. This is a physically demanding role that requires a love for animals and the ability to handle them with care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and maintenance for animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and play areas
-must be able to work holidays and all weekend and Wednesdays
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns
Can have any fear of animals
- Handle animals safely and securely during check-ins, check-outs

Qualifications:
- Previous animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and safe handling practices
- Must be able to handle Yuma weather. And MUST have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care

Pay: From $15.89 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
