Under general management supervision the HR Data Analyst supports the People & Talent division by utilizing technology and comprehensive knowledge of human resources principles, concepts, and best practices in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining human resources applications, workflows, and business processes across the enterprise. The primary role is to strategically support all technical aspects of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and serve as a strategic partner for HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Acts as strategic partner with People & Talent, Payroll, IT, and all other Shared Services partners.
- Lead for design, enhancements, improvements, and system implementation for Human Resource systems and integrations.
- Partner directly with the People & Talent leadership team, business partners, and Centers of Excellence to understand the strategy, business issues, and propose data driven solutions to proactively manage their data & insights needs.
- Collaborate with, streamline & connect data & analytical work across the different People & Talent Centers of Excellence & within Shared Services.
- Effectively communicate, plan, and contract with customers, partners, and co-workers to define deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Enable a data-driven culture within HR by using analytics & data to advise decisions and educating clients on how to leverage self-service solutions that are simple, global, scale able and repeatable data solutions to tell stories with data.
- Participate in the testing of information and reporting solutions with a focus on efficiency and automation.
- Provide analysis using existing and new data sources of both internal and external origin and position them to be incorporated into enterprise-wide HR reporting.
- Identify opportunities for and complete automation of reports and processes.
- Provide and educate on, self-service tools (dashboards, reports) and metrics to the user community resulting in faster more accurate results with high user satisfaction.
- Manages relationship with HRIS vendors and handles system escalation needs to achieve resolution.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Development of high-quality technical documentation, SOPs and system user guides.
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of progressive experience with HRIS/HR System Support or Associate's Degree and 4 years of progressive experience with HR/HR System Support, or HS Diploma and 6 years of progressive experience with HR/HR System.
- Proficiency in HR reporting, data analytics, and/or dashboard development
