Lincoln Tech in Columbia, MD is seeking experienced Welders to become Substitute/Part time Instructors in our Welding program. No teaching experience required. Your passion for and expertise in the field will make you an invaluable educator!
Key Qualifications
3+ years of field experience in Pipe Welding / Structural Welding:
- GMAW - MIG
- GTAW - TIG
- SMAW - Stick
- FCAW - Flux-cored arc
- Plasma Cutting
Responsibilities
- Teach Welding Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program
- Provide hands-on Welding training for student skill development in our fully equipped facility
- Encourage student growth, professionalism, and accountability
- Motivate and engage the class in a positive setting
- Support and communicate progress with students
- Prepare students for a successful in-demand career in Welding Technology
Additional Requirements
- Great communication skills
- Proficient in technology
- Teaching experience-a plus
- High school diploma/GED
