Welder/Fabricator

-Job Summary-

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

-Clean Class C or better Driver License. Trailer experience is preferred.

-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

-Certifications in Flux core, dual shield and stick welding.

-1 or all certifications in 3G and 4G with shop and/or field experience.

-Mig welding experience.

-Experience in structural, pipe & misc iron.

-Experience in the layout & fabrication of steel.

-Erect steel.

-You must be able to operate lifts & heavy equipment.

-Ability to do take offs and make cut lists.

-Operate a plasma CNC table.

-Read cad mechanical drawings, technical drawings and blueprints.

-Oxy, plasma cutting experience.

-Computer skills with Microsoft.

-Must be able pass a drug test and submit to a background check and motor vehicle report.

-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

- Fabricate metal components using various tools and equipment

- Weld components using MIG, TIG, or Stick welding techniques

- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal

- Perform pipe threading and rigging tasks as needed

- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy

- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication or welding issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

- Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding techniques

- Familiarity with operating press brake machines

- Ability to perform pipe threading and rigging tasks

- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is a plus

- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
