If you are a Welding professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you located in Boulder, CO. Responsible for layout, assemble, fit up & prepare weld joint and perform TIG welding to assist with meeting production goals and quality control. Works under direct supervision. Follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Identifies work to be done by following standardized communication procedures
- Cooperatively flexes into other areas as assigned
- Resolves routine questions and problems, refers more complex issues to higher levels
- Ensures product and process quality is maintained through visual inspection and testing as required
- Contributes input to and cooperates with improvement teams and lean manufacturing efforts to help improve quality, shorten cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs
- Performs preventative maintenance on, and ensures calibration of, equipment, tools, and fixtures, as required
- Keeps work areas clean and organized, in accordance with 5s + 1 principles
- Knows and follows all safety procedures as required in a specific operation

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 6 months experience in welding or welding certificate from technical school strongly preferred
- Stainless Steel TIG (GTAW) welding experience; required
- Capable of attaining RDPF certifications per ASME Section IX & PED
- Ability to fit up and weld product to meet dimensional specifications
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Comfortable using a computer for emails and navigating websites
- Oracle experience; a plus

In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly pay range for this role is $ 23.56 – $34.25 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
