Weekend Activities Counselors are responsible for ensuring our students have a safe and fun weekend by planning and executing all activities our students participate in each Saturday and Sunday. A typical weekend might include transporting and supervising student activities such as ice skating, movies, picnics, college and professional sporting events or visits to local museums or the zoo. Weekend Activities Counselors also facilities on-campus activities.
Although Weekend Activities Counselors are only scheduled to work 31 hours a week, they are considered full-time employees. They are eligible for a full-time salary, medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability benefits, and paid time off. Staff are also eligible to participate in our 401K program. Free meals and parking are also provided.
Our Weekend Activities Counselors work each Saturday and Sunday from 7:15 am - 10:45 pm.
Four hours of training are also required monthly for professional development and regulatory requirements.
Minimum position requirements include a high school diploma OR GED, child abuse, criminal history, FBI, driver's license and medical clearances.
Comprehensive new hire and on-the-job training provided.
