ABOUT CYBEREDGE:

Founded in 2012, CyberEdge Group is an award-winning marketing and research consulting firm serving cybersecurity vendors and service providers. Our 250+ clients are the "who's who" of their respective industries, including Palo Alto Networks, SonicWall, Tenable, CyberArk, Recorded Future, and more.

CyberEdge contracts with 40+ consultants and partners around the country to provide a variety of client services in five key areas:

  • Demand generation
  • Content creation
  • Custom research
  • Publishing
  • Staff augmentation

DESCRIPTION:

CyberEdge is currently recruiting a part-time independent contractor to serve as Webinar Host & Marketing Campaigns Manager. The first few weeks will provide approximately five billable hours per week. Then, as time passes, billable hours will expand to 10, 15, and then 20 hours/week. It's possible that, within a year, this role will expand to full-time status.

Our Webinar Host & Marketing Campaigns Manager will have two sets of customer-facing job responsibilities:

Webinar Host & Coordinator

CyberEdge is launching single-vendor and multi-vendor webinars in May 2024. Beginning in July 2024, CyberEdge will host webinars on behalf of our cybersecurity vendor clients on a variety of topics. We are responsible for achieving webinar registration and attendance goals that align with our customers' buyer personas and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and to provide a positive webinar presentation experience for our sponsoring clients.

Associated job responsibilities include:

  • Interface with our (anonymous) webinar registration partners to achieve target live webinar registration counts. When necessary, work with our partners to promote webinar recordings when live webinar registration counts fall short of goals.
  • Coordinate email reminders for webinar registrants to maximize live attendance.
  • Confirm webinar speakers. Send meeting requests for technical dry runs and train speakers on how to use the webinar platform during the technical dry runs.
  • Request presentations from all webinar speakers at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Obtain handouts (e.g., white papers, datasheets, research reports) from sponsoring clients and upload them to the webinar platform at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Obtain pop-up survey content from sponsoring clients (when applicable) and configure pop-up surveys into the webinar platform at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Serve as the host (i.e., emcee) for all single-vendor and multi-vendor webinars. Introduce all presenters, facilitate Q&A, and randomly select prize winners amongst live attendees of each speaking session.
  • Distribute prizes (typically Amazon electronic gift certificates) to prize winners via email.
  • Receive lead spreadsheets (containing webinar registrant contact details) from our webinar registration partners and disseminate them to sponsoring clients.
  • Create a post-webinar summary report for each webinar and share it with sponsoring clients.
  • Gauge satisfaction of all clients and webinar presenters. Address customer satisfaction concerns, as necessary.

Content Syndication Campaigns Manager

CyberEdge generates opt-in leads on behalf of our clients through a series of content syndication campaigns. We work with (anonymous) content syndication partners to generate leads that align with our customers' buyer personas and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) by promoting long-form content (e.g., white papers, eBooks research reports) through targeted email campaigns.

Associated job responsibilities include:

  • Participate in a 20- to 30-minute kick-off call with the client for each campaign.
  • Participate in a 20- to 30-minute kick-off call with the content syndication partner chosen for each campaign.
  • Obtain the content asset(s) that the client wishes to promote. Also obtain promotional copy from the client used to promote the content asset(s). Also obtain the client's logo and URL to the client's opt-in and/or privacy policy.
  • Obtain laid-out emails (in PDF format) and landing pages (in URL format) from our partners and share them with our clients. Seek client approval prior to greenlighting the start of any content syndication campaign.
  • Obtain lead spreadsheets from our partners and share them with our customers on a weekly basis until the campaign is complete. The customer may elect to receive leads via API integration directly into their CRM (e.g., Salesforce.com) or marketing automation platform (e.g., Hubspot), which we can accommodate at no additional charge.
  • Gauge satisfaction of all clients following completion of each campaign.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two years of high-tech marketing campaign management experience working for or on behalf of a technology vendor.
  • Minimum of two years of Webinar Hosting experience working for or on behalf of a technology vendor.
