Duties:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- Follow job specifications and ensure proper ink color, registration, and print quality
- Monitor press performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Collaborate with graphic designers and prepress technicians to ensure accurate reproduction of designs
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the printing process
- Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order replacements as needed
Skills:
- Experience operating various types of printing presses, specifically heat-set Web Offset
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent print quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot press issues
