Punch Press Set-Up/Operator – 1st Shift
Immediate opening for a skilled Punch Press Operator who can also manage Set-Up. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity to join a leader in the metal stamping industry in Rockford. The ideal candidate should have some Punch Press experience, be able to read micrometers and have a good mechanical background.
Hours: 6am to 3:30pm
Pay: $18.00/hour or more DOE
Punch Press Set-Up/Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Compound Presses
- Read gauges
- Complete required documentation
Punch Press Set-Up/Operator Requirements:
- Strong mechanical ability
- Previous Punch Press experience preferred
- Ability to read micrometers, depth micrometers and dial calipers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and quality-minded
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Good math skills
- Legible handwriting for documentation
